We all know that people are impacted by various forms of stress and trauma.  Learn to implement practical strategies that address the social, emotional, and physical health of your school community.

Attendees will be able to:

·        Discuss how toxic stressors and traumatic events affect the human stress response system

·        Identify toxic events that are included in the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) research

·        Identify and reflect upon their own ACEs score and how it affects their personal interactions

·        Discuss the elements of a sanctuary classroom and how they can help educators and parents improve emotional safety
